In May 2025, the Japan NCAP (JNCAP) awarded the India-built Fronx 4 stars, scoring 163.75/193.8 points (79.42/85.8 in preventive safety; 76.33/100 in collision tests). However, that version had additional ADAS not standard in Indian units.
As of now, the Fronx has no official Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP rating, though Maruti claims structural improvements. Based on others on the same Heartect platform scoring 0–2 stars, independent testing is awaited.
