Maruti Suzuki is celebrating 20 years of the iconic Swift, one of India’s best-selling hatchbacks. First launched in May 2005, the Swift redefined the segment with its sporty design and fun-to-drive nature. Over the last two decades and four generations, it has sold over 3 million units, contributing more than 10% of Maruti’s overall sales and commanding a 31% share in its segment.

2025 Swift Highlights
The latest Swift is powered by a 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine (82PS/112Nm), paired with a 5-speed MT or AMT. It delivers excellent mileage—24.8 kmpl (MT) and 25.75 kmpl (AMT). A CNG variant (70PS/102Nm, 5MT) is also on offer.
On the outside, it sports smoked LED projector headlamps, a gloss-black grille, and sleek lines. The interior brings a flat-bottom steering wheel, asymmetrical dials, and a cockpit-like layout.
