Google’s latest AI video generation model, Veo 3, has officially made its way to India as part of the Gemini AI Pro subscription plan, priced at ₹1,950 per month. After an initial release in the US, the tool became available to Indian users in July 2025, offering advanced video creation capabilities designed for both individuals and enterprises.
Veo 3 is known for producing highly realistic videos directly from text or image prompts. What sets it apart is its deep understanding of cinematic language and the ability to generate synchronized audio elements—from dialogue to sound effects and ambient noise—natively within the video.

The model also supports configurable aspect ratios, including landscape 16:9 and portrait 9:16, making it versatile for everything from cinematic projects to social media content. With optimized rate limits and reduced pricing, it’s well-suited for high-volume video production.

For businesses, Veo 3 can be accessed via Google’s Vertex AI platform, already being leveraged by creative platforms like Canva. Meanwhile, students in India benefit from Google’s “Grow with Google” initiative, which offers a free one-year upgrade to Gemini, giving them access to Veo 3 and other AI tools at no extra cost.

While Veo 3 has been available through limited-time free trials and credits, full access to its high-quality models generally requires a paid subscription. However, its combination of realism, creative flexibility, and synchronized audio makes it a game-changer for AI-powered video creation.
